Newark Warrant Roundup Nets 14 Fugitives

NEWARK, NJ – Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé announced the arrest of 14 individuals with outstanding warrants in Newark. The arrests, part of the Newark Police Division’s Crime Reduction Initiative, took place over November 8 and 9, 2023.

This initiative is a strategic effort by the Newark Police Division to address and reduce crime in the city by targeting individuals with outstanding warrants.

The following individuals were charged:

Russell Fluker, 60, was wanted for aggravated assault, terroristic threats, and simple assault.
• Andre Harris, 33, was wanted for criminal mischief and violation of a temporary restraining order.
•Quasim Huggins, 18, was wanted for robbery, conspiracy, and weapon possession.
•Alzahir Lancaster, 23, was wanted for weapon possession, possession of prohibited weapons, and certain persons prohibited from weapon possession.
• Shiquandra Evans, 32, was wanted for aggravated assault and weapon possession.
• Rasoo Scott, 34, was wanted for an aggravated assault shooting, weapon possession, and possession of prohibited weapons.
• Stephen Montgomery, 55, was wanted for theft of movable property.
• Jermaine Rabb, 43, was wanted for simple assault.
• Edward Torres, 36, was wanted for terroristic threats and violation of a temporary restraining order.
• Yusuf Brown, 22, was wanted for robbery, conspiracy, weapon possession, and certain persons prohibited from weapon possession.
• Rajohnna S. Walker, 31, was wanted for robbery, aggravated assault terroristic threats, and weapon possession.
• Toneyah Lopez, 18, was wanted for aggravated assault, weapon possession, and conspiracy.
• Kaiser Aguiar Coelho, 47, was wanted for aggravated assault.
• Wyntyr Wilkins Zackery, 19, was wanted for aggravated assault, weapon possession, and conspiracy.
