Ocean County Woman Stole $195k From Her Wall Township Employer

FREEHOLD, NJ – Jessica L. Schott, 44, of Point Pleasant, has been charged with multiple counts of theft and forgery, as announced by Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago.

The charges include second-degree Theft by Unlawful Taking, third-degree Forgery, and third-degree False Uttering.

The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office Financial Crimes and Public Corruption Bureau initiated an investigation following a tip from Schott’s former employer in Wall Township.


An examination of financial records implicated Schott in unauthorized transactions totaling approximately $195,320, including debit-card purchases, ATM withdrawals, and the collection of unapproved paychecks and overtime, some involving forged signatures.

Schott, charged via summons, is awaiting further court proceedings in Monmouth County Superior Court. Information regarding her legal representation is yet to be disclosed.
