E-Bike Rider Attacked with Baseball Bat in Brooklyn

NEW YORK, NY – A 25-year-old male victim was assaulted while riding his e-bike in Brooklyn, as reported to police. The incident occurred on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, around 21:50 near the intersection of 60th Street and 8th Avenue.

According to the police, the victim was approached by unknown males in two vehicles, who initiated a conversation to coerce him to stop. At a red light, four individuals emerged from the vehicles and attacked the victim with a baseball bat and a garbage can. The assailants then fled the scene in their vehicles – a dark-colored BMW sedan heading east on 60th Street and a silver Mercedes Benz sedan going south on 8th Avenue. Both vehicles had unknown New Jersey plates.

The victim suffered a broken arm and facial injuries. Emergency Medical Services transported him to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn, where he was listed in stable condition.


The suspects, described as males with medium complexions, are currently being sought by the police.
