ShotSpotter Alert Leads to Grim Discovery in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – The Baltimore Police Department is investigating the shooting death of a man yesterday in Southeast Baltimore.

Police were dispatched to the 500 block of North Curley Street following a ShotSpotter alert at around 4 p.m.

The officers discovered a male victim, yet to be identified, in a critical condition with multiple gunshot wounds. The emergency medical team quickly transported him to Johns Hopkins Hospital. Despite the efforts of the medical staff, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was declared dead.
