Worker Attacked with Baseball Bat in NYC Attack

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking information about an assault that occurred on Wednesday, October 18, at approximately 7:15 PM. The incident took place at 837 Rogers Avenue.

An ongoing dispute between the victim, a 59-year-old male employee, and an unknown assailant escalated when the assailant entered the establishment and struck the victim multiple times in the right arm with a baseball bat.

Following the attack, the perpetrator fled northbound on Rogers Avenue. The victim, who was taken to NYC Health and Hospital, is in stable condition.


The suspect is described as a male, about 5’9” tall, with a medium complexion, medium build, and partial baldness. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, and blue sneakers.
