JACKSON TOWNSHIP, NJ – A young dog, approximately two years old, named Chevy, faces a critical situation in a shelter where he has been residing since last January. The dog, according to the Friends of Northern Ocean County Animal Facility, through no fault of his own, has been waiting for nearly a year for someone to offer him a new home.
As time passes, Chevy’s condition deteriorates, with signs of shutting down emotionally due to the prolonged stay in the shelter environment.
“We don’t know what else to do. Time is running out, this sweet boy, who is only around two years old is in very serious trouble,” the group said today.
Chevy, still a puppy in many ways, urgently requires assistance to find a forever home. The shelter is reaching out to any 501(c)(3) rescue organizations that can intervene to save his life.
The situation is becoming increasingly dire as time is running out for this young dog who deserves a chance at a happy and loving home.
