AVALON, NJ – The Avalon Police Department announced the sale of the 2024 holiday seasonal beach tag, available on November 24-25th, coinciding with the town’s Festive Friday and Snowfest Saturday events.

The unique beach tag, featuring a seahorse adorned with a Santa hat pulling Santa’s sleigh, will be on sale from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Avalon Beach Tag Booth near Avalon Community Hall at 30th Street and the beach. Each tag is priced at $30 and will be valid throughout the 2024 summer beach season in Avalon. Notably, holders of this tag will not need to exchange it for a regular summertime tag.

Payment methods include cash, check, and credit card at the Beach Tag Booth. The Avalon community and visitors are encouraged to participate in this event and secure their beach tags during these festive days.

Should any holiday tags remain unsold after the weekend, they will be available for in-person purchase at the Avalon Tax Collector’s Office in Avalon Borough Hall, open Monday through Friday, from 8:15 am to 4:15 pm, while supplies last.
