Night of Shootings in Philadelphia Leaves One Dead, Two Injured

PHILADELPHIA, PA – A series of shootings in Philadelphia on the night of Thursday and the early hours of Friday has resulted in one fatality and two injuries.

The first incident occurred at 7:47 pm on Edgely Street, where a 57-year-old man was shot in the leg. He was transported to the hospital in stable condition, though no arrests have been made.

The second shooting took place at 1:38 am on Leopard Street, injuring a 21-year-old man who suffered a graze wound to his forearm. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition.


The suspect in this case is described as a man in his mid-20s with a medium build, approximately 6’1″ tall, with locs, wearing all-black clothing.

The third incident, which proved fatal, happened at 2:27 am on Ashton Road. A 26-year-old man was shot in the chest and later pronounced dead at the hospital. A 22-year-old suspect has been arrested, and a weapon was recovered at the scene. Investigations into all three incidents are ongoing.
