Greenbelt Shooting Leads to School Lockdowns

GREENBELT, MD – A shooting incident in the 6200 block of Spring Hill Court, Greenbelt, Maryland, resulted in one victim being airlifted to the hospital. The event prompted a temporary lockdown of nearby Dora Kennedy French Immersion School, Greenbelt Middle, and Greenbelt Elementary Schools.

Authorities confirmed the shooting and implemented precautionary measures at the educational institutions. The lockdown has since been lifted. Greenbelt City Police Department maintains a presence at the schools to ensure safety.
