POLK COUNTY, FL — The Polk County Sheriff’s Office reported the arrest of a pest & lawn service worker, identified as 27-year-old Tyler Mountain of Lake Wales, following two separate incidents involving exposure to female customers. Mountain was charged with Lewd Exhibition (M1) and Lewd Exhibition to an Elderly Person (F3).

The investigation was initiated on October 26, 2023, after a 76-year-old woman in Davenport reported an incident with an employee from Massey Services. According to the victim, Mountain exposed himself in her home during a pest control service estimate, claiming his zipper was broken and requesting her assistance, which she refused.

Following this complaint, Massey Services terminated Mountain’s employment. This was the second complaint received about Mountain’s conduct.

Mountain was first arrested on November 22nd for the October incident. Subsequently, another victim from Haines City, who was not in the county initially, reported a similar encounter with Mountain that occurred on July 24, 2023. The detective learned that Mountain, under the pretext of providing lawn maintenance, exposed himself and made the same claim about his zipper.

Mountain was re-arrested on November 25th and charged for the July offense. Sheriff Grady Judd emphasized the seriousness of these actions, stating, “This man used his work position to gain access to the homes of these women, and then sexually exposed himself—this behavior is disgusting and predatory.” Judd also urged any additional victims to come forward.
