Wisconsin YouTubers Break World Record with Giant Grilled Cheese Sandwich

YouTubers Exodus and Iggy Chaudhry, celebrating a milestone of 100,000 subscribers, have set a new Guinness World Records title by creating the world’s largest grilled cheese sandwich. The Wisconsin-based duo, known for their love of ‘big food’, crafted a sandwich measuring 1.89 meters wide, 3.32 meters long, and 7 cm thick.

The sandwich, 35% larger than the previous record set by Cabot Creamery of Vermont in 2000, was a community effort involving the brothers’ parents and neighbors. Focaccia bread was chosen for its structural integrity, with two enormous slices baked on a specially constructed giant griddle.

Melting the cheese and evenly browning the sandwich posed significant challenges. The team used open flames and blow torches to achieve the desired cook, requiring over an hour of torching for the top side.

Weighing in at 189.9 kg (418.7 lb), the grilled cheese sandwich not only broke the record but was also nearly 100 lb heavier than the previous holder. This culinary feat highlights the creativity and community spirit of the Chaudhry brothers and their Wisconsin hometown.
