Hit-and-Run Incident Leaves Senior Citizen in Critical Condition

PHILADELPHIA, PA – An incident occurred on Sunday, involving a hit-and-run that critically injured a 69-year-old woman.

The incident took place around 8:06 pm on the 11000 block of Knights Road. According to the Philadelphia Police Department, the victim was struck by a dark-colored SUV while it was exiting a parking lot. The driver failed to stop and fled the scene, heading towards Red Lion Road.

Emergency responders, including Medic 48, were promptly on site. The injured pedestrian was transported to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, where she was listed in critical condition.


The Philadelphia Police Department is actively investigating the case and asks anyone with information to come forward.
