Two Shot, One Dead in Brooklyn Shooting

NEW YORK, NY – A shooting incident at 2620 Cortelyou Road in the Little Haiti section of Brooklyn led to the death of one man and the injury of another. Police responded to the scene at approximately 7:30 pm on Tuesday, November 28, following a 911 call reporting shots fired.

Investigations revealed that a 33-year-old male and a 35-year-old male, Kelton McKenna, were shot in the torso in front of the location. Both victims were transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Kings County.

McKenna, a resident of 1211 Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn, was pronounced deceased, while the other victim is in stable condition.


No arrests have been made, and the NYPD continues its investigation into the shooting.
