Baltimore Police Seize 17 Dirt Bikes and ATVs, Arrest One in N. Luzerne Avenue Raid

BALTIMORE, MD – On November 21, 2023, at approximately 11:35 a.m., the Baltimore Police Department’s Eastern District Neighborhood Coordinating (NCO) Unit executed a search and seizure warrant at a residence in the 1600 block of N. Luzerne Avenue.

During the operation, officers seized 17 dirt bikes and all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), along with multiple firearms and ammunition. These items were collected as evidence.

The raid resulted in the arrest of Kevin Lenard Bridgeforth, 44, a Baltimore resident. Bridgeforth faces charges including illegal possession of a firearm, unlawful taking of a motor vehicle, unauthorized removal of a motor vehicle, theft, and several other violations. His criminal record includes previous charges of illegal possession of a firearm, robbery, aggravated assault, disorderly conduct, handgun violation, among others.


The successful operation was fueled by community input and surveillance, leading to a thorough investigation by the Eastern District NCO unit. This collaboration culminated in the acquisition of a warrant for the targeted location.

The operation involved assistance from the MMU, ED DAT, Eastside Initiative, Baltimore City Fire Marshal, Animal Control, BGE, DHCD, and DOT.

Photos and a video of the operation are available for public viewing. Since the beginning of 2023, Baltimore City officers have seized a total of 186 illegal dirt bikes.
