Deadspin and Carron Phillips Have Culturally Raped and Humiliated Young Chiefs Fan and Should Be Held Accountable

LAS VEGAS, NV – A young Native American boy whose grandfather is a member of a local tribal council was culturally raped and humiliated by a woke, out-for-vengence, and irresponsible writer named Carron Phillips this week, igniting the internet.

Phillips decided to attack a young child who painted his face half black and half red, donned in Kansas City Chiefs clothing, wearing a headdress at last weekend’s Chiefs versus Raiders game in Las Vegas.

Phillips, who has been known to be incendiary and off-target in the past, claimed the boy was wearing blackface and intentionally misled his readers to hide the fact that he had the game’s teams’ colors on his face. When confronted with evidence, Phillips doubled down on his perverse attack against the young child, saying he was also offending Mexicans and Indians, saying ‘red face’ is just as culturally offensive as ‘black face’.

He lashed out at nearly the entire country, standing by his defamation of the young boy who was just cheering on local teams.

Later, it turned out the boy is actually Native American, according to his mom.

She stated that her son is of Native American heritage, noting that his grandfather is a member of a tribal council. This revelation challenges the initial accusations and shifts the narrative surrounding the incident.

Now, It is Phillips who is culturally raping a young boy in the public square. As a Native American, the boy has every right to wear his culturally identifying headdress. Who Phillips, a self-entitled journalist, stripped that boy of his rights and dignity.

Not only do Deadspin and Phillips owe this young man an apology, he should be fired from his job. Additionally, the family of this young boy should sue Phillips and Deadspin for slander, libel, and defamation since it is clear that he intended to cause harm to the boy and his reputation.

Phillips should also be brought up on criminal charges of child endangerment by recklessly putting this child in harm’s way. Children are a protected class in America and nobody should expose them and ridicule them in the manner this internet troll and online bully Phillips has done to this young child.
