CAPE CORAL, FL – Jordan Garrett, 30, is facing multiple charges, including kidnapping and sexual battery, after a series of events led to the rescue of a woman he had allegedly held captive and assaulted. The case unfolded when Garrett, experiencing a medical emergency, inadvertently led police to his victim.

On November 18th, Garrett called for emergency aid, drawing Cape Coral Police to the scene. Upon arrival, officers quickly realized the gravity of the situation. A female victim, found in distress, silently communicated her need for rescue to the responding officers. She exhibited signs of physical abuse and recounted a harrowing experience of being confined and repeatedly assaulted by Garrett.

The victim, who remains unidentified for her protection, revealed extensive bruising and injuries. She described being forcibly detained in her residence, enduring continuous physical and sexual abuse. Garrett had reportedly confiscated her phone earlier in the week when she attempted to call for help, further threatening her safety.

Garrett has been charged with kidnapping, sexual battery, obstructing justice, and depriving a crime victim of medical care. He is currently in custody as the investigation by the Cape Coral Police Department continues. The full extent of the victim’s ordeal and the motive behind Garrett’s actions are still under investigation.
