Suspect Sought in Multiple Armed Robberies Near University of Maryland

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, MD – The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Robbery Unit is asking to the community for help in identifying suspects linked to a series of commercial armed robberies. These incidents have occurred since early November, with as many as 10 robberies reported so far.

The most recent robbery took place on Tuesday, at around 7:25 pm, at a restaurant on University Boulevard in the Chillum area. The incidents took place near the University of Maryland.

During this incident, one employee suffered a minor injury when threatened with a knife by the suspect. The majority of these robberies have been concentrated in the 2000 block of University Boulevard, leading detectives to suspect that the perpetrators may have connections to this area.


The police department is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest and indictment in these cases. Anyone with relevant information is asked to contact the Robbery Unit at 301-516-2830.
