BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD – A Baltimore County college student, fondly nicknamed “Lucky 7” due to her affinity for the number 7, recently won a $57,777 top prize on the Maryland Lottery’s new Winning 7 scratch-off game.

The anonymous winner’s superstition about the number 7 has been a guiding factor in her choices, leading her to select gas pumps and checkout counters with the number. This time, her lucky number proved fortunate on the $5 Winning 7 game. While playing, she matched the winning number “32” on the top line of her ticket, uncovering the substantial $57,777 prize.

“Lucky 7” verified her win using her phone, still in disbelief at her luck. She intends to use the prize money to purchase a car and secure an apartment.

The winning ticket was purchased at 7-Eleven #27098, located at 10045 York Road in Cockeysville, Baltimore County. The retailer will receive a $577 bonus from the Lottery for selling the top-prize winning ticket.

“Lucky 7” is the first top-prize winner in the Winning 7 game, which was launched on November 24. The game still offers seven top prizes of $57,777, along with other prizes ranging from $5 to $7,000.
