Assault at Sharon Hill Intersection Leads to Arrest

SHARON HILL, PA – On Friday, Sharon Hill Police Department officers were called to the intersection of Chester Pike & Clifton Ave following reports of an assault.

The victim, a male found in the Unit Block of Clifton Ave, was transported to a local hospital with non-serious injuries.

Dontey Tucker, a 48-year-old resident of Collingdale, has been charged with simple assault and related offenses.


Following his arraignment, Tucker was released on ROR bail and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing later this month in front of Judge Forbes.

Chief of Police Richard Herron confirmed the charges against Tucker, which include simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, disorderly conduct, and harassment.
