Atlantic City Police Department Launches Online Crime Reporting Platform

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – On Monday, the Atlantic City Police Department has unveiled a new Citizen Services Program website. This platform, created in collaboration with ProPhoenix Corporation, offers citizens an alternative way to report certain types of incidents and crimes directly to the police department.

This initiative aims to enhance convenience and efficiency in handling reports, without necessitating visits to the Clayton G. Graham Public Safety Building or calls to the Communications Unit.

Eligible incidents for online reporting include minor thefts not exceeding $200, lost property, vandalism with damages below $500, identity theft, and harassment or annoying phone calls, provided there are no known suspects, injuries, or physical evidence requiring recovery.

The reporting process involves submitting basic personal and incident details, with an option to attach pictures or documents if necessary.

The Atlantic City Police Department encourages the public to utilize this new digital tool for eligible reports, while still offering traditional methods of contact for those who prefer them.
