LAFAYETTE, GA — Jessica Camp, a 39-year-old registered nursing assistant, was arrested following allegations of engaging in inappropriate sexual relationships with disabled patients at a rehabilitation facility in Georgia. The Walker County Sheriff’s Office and LaFayette Police Department charged her with improper conduct by an employee in the first and second degree.

Investigations began in November when detectives responded to complaints at PruittHealth nursing home in LaFayette. An arrest report detailed allegations of Camp performing oral sex on residents. Further allegations emerged involving a quadriplegic patient, whom Camp is accused of deceiving into a false relationship and financially exploiting.

The quadriplegic patient reported that since August, Camp had convinced him to give her $1,300 for rent, leading him to hand over $788 over three months. He later realized the deceitfulness of Camp’s actions. Another patient, a double-leg amputee on dialysis, reported a similar experience, claiming Camp had asked for $750 for a car payment.

These incidents have sparked a broader investigation into Camp’s conduct at the nursing home, with authorities scrutinizing her interactions with other patients. Camp’s arrest has raised concerns about the protection and treatment of vulnerable individuals in healthcare settings.
