This New Jersey Bar Transforms Into a Christmas-themed oasis for the Holidays

FREEHOLD, NJ – When it’s not the holiday season, it is The Loaded Spoon on 108 Schanck Road in Freehold, inside the holiday-theme iPlay America. The bar has transformed into Miracle, a global brand of pop-up Christmas bars.

Miracle, a Christmas-themed pop-up bar, opened its doors in Freehold, bringing a unique holiday experience to the area.

The concept and original bar, known for its festive atmosphere and specialty cocktails, was initially launched in New York City in 2014.

Since then, it has expanded globally, reaching numerous cities across the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia, and Central America in pop-up bar format.

“The concept was born in 2014 when upon the advice of his mother, owner Greg Boehm decided to halt construction of what was to be his new East Village cocktail bar called Mace and transformed the unfinished space into a pop-up bar serving holiday-themed drinks among over-the-top Christmas decorations,” the bar states on its website. “As crowds swarmed the NYC location, Boehm’s friends throughout the bar industry asked how they could recreate the holiday magic on their own turf and expansion became inevitable.”

The idea for Miracle emerged when owner Greg Boehm, following his mother’s advice, transformed his under-construction East Village bar, Mace, into a holiday-themed venue.

The concept quickly gained popularity, leading to rapid expansion. In addition to its festive decor and holiday drinks, Miracle is recognized for its collaboration with the Seva Foundation, a global nonprofit focused on eye care. This year, Miracle will donate 10% of its retail sales from themed mugs to the foundation.

You don’t have to travel to the East Village to have the experience; it’s now available right here at the Jersey Shore.
