FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – Cris John Pentinio Castor, 35, a youth counselor on the Celebrity Silhouette cruise ship, has admitted to sexually abusing at least four young girls, according to an FBI investigation. The disturbing revelations came to light following a complaint from the father of a 6-year-old victim.

The Celebrity Silhouette, operated by Celebrity Cruises, was on a Caribbean route when the incident occurred. It departed from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Nov. 20 and returned on Nov. 30, with stops in various countries. The allegations surfaced during the ship’s visit to St. Johns in Antigua and Barbuda.

The 6-year-old victim reported to the youth center’s program manager that Castor, known as “CJ” to crew members and children, inappropriately touched her. This alarming admission prompted an immediate investigation, leading to Castor’s confession of abuse against multiple young girls.

The case has raised serious concerns about the safety and protection of minors in cruise ship youth programs. The investigation into Castor’s actions and the broader implications for child safety on cruise ships is ongoing.
