Cranford Police Investigate Attempted Burglary on Brookside Place

CRANFORD, NJ – An attempted residential burglary was reported in Cranford on Sunday, December 10. Cranford Police Department responded to the incident at a Brookside Place residence around 8:00 AM.

The homeowner discovered a back window open and the back gate, which had been securely closed around midnight the previous night, also open. A locked BMW was parked on the property at the time of the incident.

Authorities urge residents to remain vigilant, ensuring that both vehicles and homes are securely locked overnight. They also recommend checking the operational status of security cameras. Further updates will be provided by the Cranford Police Department.
