WILDWOOD, NJ -– A wind advisory is in effect until 1:00 AM Monday, as announced by the National Weather Service The Jersey Shore region, including Eastern Monmouth, Atlantic Coastal Cape May, Coastal Atlantic, and Coastal Ocean areas, is expected to experience significant wind activity.

Forecasts predict south winds ranging from 20 to 30 mph, with gusts reaching up to 50 mph. The advisory, which began at 4 PM today, advises residents and visitors in the affected areas to exercise caution due to the potential for strong winds. These conditions can lead to challenging outdoor activities and warrant extra attention for the safety of property and personal well-being.

Heavy rains are also expected into Monday with flooding in low lying and coastal areas.
