D.C. Police Investigate Afternoon Shooting on Ames Street

WASHINGTON D.C. – An investigation is underway by the Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department following a shooting incident in Northeast D.C. on Saturday afternoon.

Responding to an emergency call, officers arrived at the 3500 block of Ames Street at approximately 4:55 p.m. There, they discovered a male gunshot victim. Despite his injuries, the man was conscious and breathing when he was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
