Dave Portnoy Reviews Kosher Pizza Chain Coming to Jackson Township in One Bite Pizza Review

JACKSON TOWNSHIP, NJ – Dave Portnoy, President of Barstool Sports and the face behind the popular “One Bite Pizza” reviews, recently visited Fialkoff’s Kosher Pizza in Surfside, Florida. Known for his candid and often humorous pizza reviews, Portnoy provided his take on Fialkoff’s offerings.

Incidentally, Fialkoff’s is opening a new pizzeria right here in Jackson Township. Fialkoff’s is a well liked pizza chain based out of New York. They are opening in the old site of Farley’s Homemade Ice Cream and Roskos Bagels at the Annilop Plaza on Brewers Bridge Road.

Many in Jackson, home to a large population of Orthodox Jews, are looking forward to Fialkoff’s and last night, Portnoy gave Jackson residents a brief insight into the pizzeria.

Portnoy stumbled upon Fialkoff’s after a chance encounter with the owner at a nearby Starbucks. He expressed initial confusion over the ordering process and the size of the pizza, eventually receiving a larger-than-expected pie at no charge, thanks to recognition by a staff member.

The review highlighted Portnoy’s first impressions of the pizza’s appearance, which he found appealing. However, he noted a lack of crispness in the crust and a slight flop in the slices, which were larger than he typically encounters. Despite these observations, Portnoy rated the pizza highly, giving it a score of 7.5 out of 10. He remarked on the quality of the sauce and cheese, admitting he was previously unaware of the specific differences in kosher pizza preparation.

Portnoy’s visit to Fialkoff’s is noteworthy not only for the review itself but also for his recognition of the local Jewish community in Surfside. He acknowledged the presence of another pizza place nearby but pointed out that Fialkoff’s, being kosher, likely catered more to the local demographic.

In conclusion, Portnoy’s review of Fialkoff’s Kosher Pizza offered an insightful glimpse into the world of kosher pizza through the lens of a seasoned pizza critic. His rating of 7.5 reflects a positive experience, underscoring Fialkoff’s success in providing quality kosher pizza in a competitive market.

A few years ago, Portnoy visited Jackson Township and reviewed Brooklyn Square Pizza, giving the pizza a score above 8, making it one of the top reviews in the history of Barstool’s One Bite Pizza Review vlog.

Fialkoff’s is set to open a new location in Jackson Township, NJ, taking over the site formerly occupied by Farleys Ice Cream and Rosko’s Bagels on Bethel Church Road. This expansion marks a significant step for the pizzeria as it continues to grow its presence in the Northeast. No opening date has been announced.
