North Philadelphia Quadruple Shooting One of Ten Shootings Reported This Weekend

PHILADELPHIA, PA – An incident unfolded in North Philadelphia early Sunday, marking one of 10 shootings in the city during the weekend.

At approximately 4:12 a.m., a 28-year-old woman and a 32-year-old man were fatally shot at 2200 North Chadwick Street. The woman sustained a shot in her back, while the man was hit in the head and back. Both victims were pronounced dead upon arrival at Temple University Hospital.

In the same incident, a 36-year-old man and a 45-year-old man sustained gunshot wounds to their legs and were later reported in stable condition at the same hospital.


Further details were provided on a separate incident on Saturday, where a teenager was fatally shot in the city’s Olney section. The 17-year-old boy, found with a chest wound, was pronounced dead at Jefferson Einstein Hospital. Another 17-year-old sustained a gunshot wound to his cheek but is in stable condition.

The Philadelphia Police Department reported several other shootings throughout the weekend, with victims ranging in age and condition.
