Queens Neighborhood Wakes Up To Gunfire As Two Shot, One Dead Monday Morning

QUEENS, NY – Police reported to a shooting at the intersection of 199 Street and Hollis Avenue early Tuesday morning, finding two men with gunshot wounds.

The incident occurred around 5:00 AM in Queens.

One victim, a 31-year-old man, was pronounced dead at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center. The second victim, aged 32, is in stable condition at North Shore University Hospital. Authorities have not made any arrests, and the investigation continues. The identity of the deceased is withheld until family members are notified.
