CUMBERLAND, MD – Timothy Bobby Miller Jr, 35, was arrested on multiple drug charges in Cumberland, Maryland, on December 12, following a traffic stop for a violation.
Cumberland City Police officers, while on patrol on Grand Ave, noticed a traffic violation involving a white passenger vehicle. A stop was initiated, and Miller, the vehicle’s lone occupant, was contacted. A police K9 unit conducted a free-air sniff around the vehicle, indicating controlled dangerous substances (CDS) inside.
A search of the vehicle and Miller revealed suspected crack cocaine, fentanyl, suboxone, and marijuana. Officers also seized a large amount of U.S. currency. Miller was arrested and transported to the Cumberland Police Department for processing.
Following his initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner, Miller was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center. He is currently held without bond. The charges include possession with intent to distribute CDS (three counts) and possession of CDS, not cannabis (three counts).
