EVESHAM TOWNSHIP, NJ — Evesham Township is set to host its inaugural Holiday Light Parade on Friday, December 15, starting at 7 PM on East Main Street. The township has released details of detours for traffic during the parade.

Westbound vehicles on Main Street will have the option to turn right onto Plymouth Drive towards Route 70, while eastbound traffic on West Main Street can turn left onto North Maple Avenue, also leading to Route 70. These detours are designed to help navigate around the closed portion of East Main Street.

Main Street between Plymouth Drive and North Maple Avenue will be closed from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM to accommodate the parade. Attendees are encouraged to arrive by 6:00 PM to secure a good viewing spot.

In a unique allowance, spectators can bring propane-fueled fire pits to the event, though wood-burning pits are prohibited.

The township looks forward to establishing this parade as a new holiday tradition and invites the community to join in the festive celebration.
