Police Investigating Homer City Bank Robbery

HOMER CITY BOROUGH, PA – On Wednesday, at 12:20 p.m., a bank robbery occurred at the S&T Bank on 34 North Main Street in Homer City Borough.

The Pennsylvania State Troopers are investigating the incident involving an unknown male suspect.

The suspect, described as a male between 5’09” to 6’00” tall, entered the bank, presented a note, and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.


He was wearing a dark IUP hat, camouflage-colored face/neck gator, blue bandana, Mossy Oak jacket, gray gloves, dark blue pants, and a black backpack. The suspect fled in a white Chrysler sedan with a spare tire on the rear passenger side and a missing hubcap on the front driver-side wheel.

Investigators ask residents and businesses with surveillance footage of the suspect or vehicle, particularly between 12:00 p.m. to 12:40 p.m. on the day of the robbery, to contact Troop A, Indiana at 724-357-1960.
