Traffic Advisory: Road Closures and Flood Warnings in PA Following Heavy Rain

Good morning. Following the heavy overnight rain, several road closures and potential flood risks are affecting the area.

  • Bridgetown Pike: Closed between 413 and Langhorne Yardley Road.
  • 413: Closed at Bridgetown Pike.
  • Trenton Road: Was closed between Woodbourne and Oxford Valley but has now reopened. This area will be monitored throughout the morning.
  • Banks Road: A short stretch is currently closed.

As of early this morning, there have been no reports of downed trees or power outages. However, due to the rising levels of Neshaminy Creek, which is expected to peak at 12 feet (moderate flood stage) around noon, conditions may worsen for roads and areas typically affected by flooding at this stage.

Authorities will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates on potential further road closures. Additional officers are on duty today to assist with road closures and flood-related issues. Drivers are advised to exercise caution and patience due to the increased traffic resulting from the closures.

For reporting flood-related issues, please call 215-949-1000 or 911.
