New Jersey Lights Up: Drive-Through Holiday Displays Sparkle Across the State

NEW JERSEY – Families in New Jersey have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the holiday spirit with a series of drive-through light displays. These attractions, spanning North, Central, and South Jersey, offer a dazzling experience from the comfort of one’s vehicle.

In North Jersey, the Skylands Stadium Light Show & Christmas Village in Augusta celebrates its 10th anniversary. The event features over 2 million lights along a one-mile route. It is open from November 22 to December 30, with tickets available online.

The Orchard of Lights at Demarest Farms in Hillsdale offers a journey through 32 acres of twinkling lights. This attraction is open from November 22 to December 29, with advance ticket purchases required.


Central Jersey hosts the Winter WonderLights at the Middlesex County Fairgrounds in East Brunswick. Visitors can enjoy over 1.5 million lights animated to music along a half-mile course, open from November 24 to December 31.

In South Jersey, the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel transforms into the Magic of Lights, operating from November 17 to December 30. Tickets can be purchased online or at the gate.

The Holiday Drive-Thru Light Show at Diggerland USA in West Berlin adds to the festive offerings. This event, featuring a dedicated radio channel for holiday music, runs from November 17 to January 1, 2024. Tickets are available online and at the gate.

An additional highlight is Christmas in Cape May, which adds a Victorian charm to the holiday season in New Jersey. Visitors can check online for details.
