LAKEWOOD, NJ – Dayewon Crockam, 23, of Lakewood, received a seven-year sentence in New Jersey State Prison for possession and intent to distribute heroin and other narcotics offenses.

The sentencing, overseen by the Honorable Kimarie Rahill, J.S.C., includes concurrent sentences for possession of crack cocaine and conspiracy to possess Oxycodone without a prescription.

The charges stem from a series of investigations in Lakewood Township between January and December 2020.

A coordinated effort by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Narcotics Strike Force and Lakewood Township Police led to Crockam’s arrest following the seizure of substantial quantities of heroin, cocaine, a firearm, and cash.

Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer commended the collaborative work of the involved law enforcement agencies, which resulted in Crockam’s guilty pleas and sentencing.
