Columbus Police Investigating Multiple Shootings

COLUMBUS, OH – Columbus police are investigating a series of shootings in south Columbus, which occurred Tuesday night, with at least two potentially being related.

The first incident happened at 7:48 p.m. in the 1600 block of Parsons Ave, near Merrion Village and Vassor Village neighborhoods.

Two pedestrians were struck by gunfire and subsequently taken to a local hospital in stable condition.


Minutes later, at around 7:50 p.m., another shooting was reported on the 400 block of Hanford Street. A third incident was reported shortly after on the 3300 block of Norwalk Road.

One victim from these shootings was transported to Grant Medical Center in stable condition. The connection between these incidents is currently under investigation.
