Hamilton Police Warn Residents Of Armed and Dangerous Fugitive Being Tracked

TOWNSHIP OF HAMILTON, NJ – Police have intensified their search for Philip Harris, a 24-year-old black male, following his escape on foot in the vicinity of Wawa near Route 40 and Cantillon Boulevard. Authorities reported Harris was last seen wearing a black hoodie and gray sweatpants.

The Township of Hamilton Police Department has warned residents to stay indoors and immediately report any sightings of the individual, who is considered armed and dangerous. The search encompasses the surrounding wooded areas.

Police have not disclosed the reason for the initial pursuit of Harris. The situation remains active, with updates expected as more information becomes available. Residents are urged to exercise caution and report any relevant information to the police.
