Amazon Driver Sought in Restaurant Meal Snatch and Grab

PRINCE FREDERICK, MD – On Monday, December 11, Deputy Tunnell from the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to investigate a reported theft on the 400 block of W. Dares Beach Road in Prince Frederick.

The victim reported a backpack containing various medications stolen from her unlocked vehicle. The current estimated value of the stolen items is undetermined.

Two days later, on December 13, Deputy First Class (DFC) Shoemaker responded to a theft at Taco Bell located at 13400 HG Trueman Road in Solomons.

An unidentified male was reported to have entered the restaurant, grabbed food from the counter without paying, and fled in an Amazon van. The total value of the stolen food is estimated at $10.00.
