Large Police Presence At Harford County Walmart, Here’s Why

HARFORD COUNTY, MD – The Harford County Sheriff’s Office hosted its ‘Shop with a Cop’ event at the Abingdon Walmart, explaining the flurry of police activity on Tollgate Road.

The successful event was made possible thanks to the support of Walmart store manager Ron Buffington, his team, and Ronald Sherman. The Sheriff’s Office also extends gratitude to the Joppa Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company, Harford County Sheriff’s Deputy Union, Harford County Sheriff’s Correctional Association, Maryland State Police Troopers, Bel Air Police Department Officers, and all volunteers who contributed their time and effort.

This event stands as a testament to the strong community spirit and collaboration among various organizations and individuals in Harford County. The participation of law enforcement and volunteers played a vital role in bringing this joyous occasion to life.
