Man Facing Firearms Charge After Argument Ends in Gunfire

BOSTON, MA – Francisco Guerrero, a 20-year-old resident of Dorchester, was arrested by detectives from District B-3 (Mattapan) on Tuesday. The arrest follows an investigation linking Guerrero to a shooting incident.

The initial event occurred at approximately 12:51 AM, on Monday, at 158 Spencer Street.

Officers responded to reports of shots fired following a verbal altercation.


Guerrero allegedly discharged a firearm at a residence, resulting in no injuries, before fleeing the scene.

Guerrero now faces multiple charges including four counts of assault with a dangerous weapon (firearm), unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition, and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling. His arraignment is set at Dorchester District Court.
