NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is currently investigating a series of connected robberies and vehicle thefts occurring between December 15 and last Monday.

The string of crimes began with the theft of a gray 2018 Porsche sedan and a cellphone from a 35-year-old woman on December 15.

Subsequently, this stolen vehicle was used in a series of other crimes, including the assault and robbery of a 46-year-old man of his Mercedes Benz sedan. Both these incidents occurred on the same day, with the assailants fleeing in separate vehicles each time.

Further incidents included the armed robbery of a 41-year-old man inside his BMW SUV and the theft of personal items including a watch and cash. This was followed by the assault and robbery of a 25-year-old male in his BMW SUV, where the suspects fled in the stolen vehicles. In a similar pattern, a 45-year-old male was robbed of his belongings after a collision caused by the perpetrators.

Descriptions of the suspects include one male with a light complexion and another with a dark complexion. The New York City Police Department is actively seeking information from the public and encourages anyone with knowledge of these crimes to contact the Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
