BALTIMORE, MD — A Maryland Lottery player struck luck on Christmas Day, winning a $540,000 Multi-Match jackpot. The winning ticket was purchased at The News Stand, located at 6901 Security Blvd., Windsor Mill, Baltimore County.

The draw on December 25 resulted in the numbers 11, 16, 21, 36, 37, and 41. The winner now faces a choice between an annuity of $540,000, distributed over 25 years, or a lump sum of approximately $290,000 before taxes.

Lottery officials urge the winner to sign the ticket and securely store it. The prize claim window is 182 days from the drawing date. For claiming instructions and options, including in-person and mail-in processes, visit the Maryland Lottery website.

Prize claims over $25,000 require a visit to the Lottery headquarters at the Montgomery Park Business Center, 1800 Washington Blvd., Suite 330, Baltimore, or a mail-in process. Due to COVID-19 precautions, the Claims Center in Baltimore operates by appointment only.

The News Stand, the retailer of the winning ticket, will receive a $1,000 bonus from the Maryland Lottery.
