NORTH BERGEN, NJ – Pro-Palestinian supporters took to the streets of North Bergen on Christmas day to block traffic and protest the devastation of Gaza after Muslim militants launched a terror attack on Israel. On October 7, 2023, terrorists backed by Hamas and Iran attacked Israel, killing thousands of innocent victims, including women and young children. The terrorists took hundreds of hostages and mutilated the bodies of many of their victims.

On Christmas Day, supporters of that act descended upon North Bergen’s streets to block traffic near Overpeck Park and to protest Israel’s retaliation to the terrorist attack on their country.

That retaliation has essentially leveled large swaths of Hamas-controlled areas in the West Bank, killing more than 15,000 in that region since. Israel’s response to the October 7 terrorist attacks has been criticized by those loyal and supportive of the Hamas terrorist organization.
