ANNAPOLIS, MD – An aggravated assault occurred on December 26 at 9:38 PM in the 1800 block of Copeland Street. Annapolis Police were dispatched to a local hospital following a report of the assault.
The victim, who was attending a gathering at the mentioned location, reported that a male acquaintance wearing a ski mask entered the home. The assailant requested to speak with the victim outside. Once outside, the assailant punched the victim in the face, causing him to fall to the ground. The victim also reported that the assailant brandished a handgun and threatened his life.
Following the incident, the victim fled the scene and later sought medical attention at a hospital. The Annapolis Police Department is investigating the assault and searching for the suspect.
