Medical Examiner Says Man Found Dead in Brooklyn Was Murdered

BROOKLYN, NY – The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has classified the death of an unidentified man found in Brooklyn as a homicide. This determination was made on Sunday, December 31.

The New York Police Department reported that on Saturday, December 30, at around 6:44 a.m., officers responded to a 911 call at 485 Van Siclen Avenue in the 75th Precinct. Upon arrival, they discovered an unresponsive male in his mid-30s lying on his side in a driveway. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) pronounced the individual dead at the scene.

The man’s identity has not been released, pending notification of his family. As of now, no arrests have been made. The investigation into the incident continues.
