Austin Store Sells $34 Million Winning Lotto Ticket

AUSTIN, TX – A fortunate Lotto Texas player has won an estimated annuitized $34 million in the drawing held on December 30. The jackpot-winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased at H-E-B Food Store #096, located at 7025 Village Center Drive in Austin. The winning numbers were 6, 7, 23, 34, 37, and 50.

The lucky winner chose the cash value option at the time of purchase and stands to receive $20,205,534.60 before taxes. However, the prize remains unclaimed. The winner has a 180-day period from the draw date to claim the prize.

Gary Grief, executive director of the Texas Lottery, expressed eagerness to meet the new millionaire. He advised, “If you have the winning ticket, we encourage you to sign the ticket, put it in a safe place, seek financial and legal advice, and call the Texas Lottery to schedule an appointment to claim the prize.”


In addition to the jackpot, 83,254 Lotto Texas tickets, including those with the Extra! add-on feature, won lower-tier prizes ranging from $2 to $13,201 in the same drawing. The jackpot for the upcoming Lotto Texas drawing on January 3 is estimated at an annuitized $5.25 million.
