Porch Pirate Ran Over by 60-Year-Old Female Victim

SAN PABLO, CA – Dene Blakely, 39, faces murder charges following an incident on December 8, where she allegedly ran over a 60-year-old woman suspected of stealing a package from her home in San Pablo, California. The victim, who sustained major injuries, died on December 23, leading to the escalation of charges against Blakely.

The San Pablo Police Department reported responding to a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian at around 2:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of Broadway Avenue. The victim was found critically injured and subsequently underwent surgery at a local hospital.

Investigations revealed that Blakely had confronted the victim on the street, believing her to be responsible for a prior package theft from her residence. The altercation escalated, resulting in Blakely striking the victim with her vehicle.
