EDEN, NC — Timothy Domina from Eden hit a $100,000 jackpot with a $20 scratch-off, dreaming of a family vacation to the Florida Keys. Domina, who had never visited the Florida Keys, expressed his excitement about taking his family on this long-awaited trip.

He purchased the winning 100X The Cash ticket at P And D Food Mart on North Main Street in Eden. The win came as a shock to Domina, who humorously remarked that he nearly had a heart attack upon realizing his luck. He shared the news with his brother, who was initially skeptical until he saw the ticket himself.

Domina claimed his prize at lottery headquarters on Tuesday. After the necessary state and federal taxes, he received $71,311. Along with planning the Florida trip, he intends to use part of his winnings to pay some bills.
