Armed Robbers and Stolen Cars Lead to Six Arrests In Buffalo

BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo Police Department announced the arrest of six individuals connected to an armed robbery and vehicle theft.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, at around 8:20 p.m. A Buffalo man reported being robbed at gunpoint while pumping gas on the 600 block of Tonawanda Street. The suspect, a male juvenile, stole the victim’s wallet, cellphone, car keys, and his 2019 Nissan.

Northwest district officers and detectives launched an investigation, leading to the discovery of an accomplice in a stolen Ford Escape from the Town of Tonawanda. The Nissan was later located and recovered in the Central Park area following a brief pursuit by Northwest district officers. The robbery suspect and two other juveniles were arrested on the 100 block of Winspear Avenue.


Similarly, the stolen Ford Escape was recovered by Ferry Fillmore district officers on the first block of Person Street, leading to the arrest of an 18-year-old male and two additional juveniles.

Recovered from the suspects’ path was a handgun, now under analysis at the CPS lab. Further charges may be pending. A 16-year-old Buffalo male faces multiple charges, including Robbery and Criminal Use of a Firearm. Travon Guilford, 18, is also charged with Robbery and other offenses.
