Lititz Police Warn of Phone Scam Impersonating Officers

Leo Canega

LITITZ, PA – On Wednesday, the Lititz Borough Police Department (LBPD) issued a warning about a phone scam.

Scammers spoofed the LBPD’s phone number, impersonating officers and demanding money from victims for a supposed bond.

The LBPD emphasizes that they never request payments over the phone.

They advise the public to exercise caution with such calls.

They recommend ending suspicious calls immediately and verifying any police-related phone contact by calling back through official channels.
